§    In 2007, the Hillsboro Public Library moved into its new facility on Brookwood Parkway, effectively doubling its size and extending the amount of resource available to the community.  The library now houses the largest collection of Spanish language books in the County and has extended programming for youth, adults and special populations.  At the same time, the Library upgraded its Shute Park branch, restoring some of the look and feel from the original 1975 design.
